When it comes to drinking water, drinking water in England is the least polluted of any major UK country.
That’s according to new figures released by the Environment Agency.
A total of 957 rivers and more than 300 lakes were found to be the most contaminated in the UK.
These include the Thames, the Avon and the Bayswater.
The worst polluted rivers in England are the Avondale, the Black Country and the Cumbria Rivers.
Here are some of the other rivers and lakes found to have the most pollution.
The Thames Thames River, a tributary of the River Thames, was found to contain more than 2,000 tonnes of plastic, including almost 2,500 plastic bags.
The Avondales rivers, which run through the county, were found as polluted as any other.
In the Black Coast, the Cotswolds and South Gloucestershire rivers, the most of the polluted waterways are found in the Thames Valley.
The South Gloucester River was found as contaminated as any of the Thames River’s tributaries.
In Northampton, the River Severn was found by the Department of Environment to be at the highest level of pollution of any river in England.
