In fact, a 2014 study found that nearly a third of US households rely on water for more than a day every day.
A recent study from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found that more than half of all Americans were drinking water contaminated with lead.
It’s important to note that the water supply is always subject to change, and some states may have different water supplies than others.
There are some exceptions to this rule, however, as shown in the chart below.
For example, some states have much more water than others, or the water comes from a certain source.
